Lisa Bruun has served as our senior vice president and vice president of human resources and operations since 1999. Previously she was a human resources consultant with Levi Strauss & Company as well as director of technical recruiting for Comsys Technical Services Inc. /Knauer Consulting.
A 20-year veteran of human resource leadership experience, Mrs. Bruun has also served as vice president of human resources and administration for 800-Software, Inc., a subsidiary of Digital Equipment Inc. Mrs. Bruun is also a certified SPHR- SHRM Senior Human Resource Professional.

Michelle Gable has served as our vice president of financial planning and analysis since August 2011. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, she served as vice president of finance with Del Mar Datatrac until it was acquired by Ellie Mae in 2011. Ms. Gable has also worked with RA Capital Advisors, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and turnaround situations.
Ms. Gable earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

Cathleen Schreiner Gates has served as our senior vice president, sales and client services since February 2012. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Ms. Schreiner Gates served as senior vice president of sales and client services for Bersin & Associates and vice president of sales, business development and client success with Clickability, Inc.
Ms. Schreiner Gates served as general manager, sales and client services with MarketTools, Inc. and as general manager, client experience management with Keynote Systems/Vividence, Inc. Ms. Schreiner Gates holds a Master’s of Business Administration in finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French literature from Douglass College-Rutgers University.

Matt LaVay has served as our vice president, controller since May 2012. Prior to Ellie Mae, Mr. LaVay served as vice president, corporate controller for Taleo Corporation and corporate controller and senior director of finance for Scientific Learning Corporation. He has also served as corporate controller for Thomas Weisel Partners Group, Inc. and in various director and managerial positions for Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Inc. and Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. LaVay holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. LaVay is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

Jonas Moe has served as our vice president, product strategy since January 2012. Mr. Moe previously served as our group product manager during which, among other contributions, he developed Encompass CenterWise™, Encompass360’s integrated electronic document management and online client portal solution and the Encompass360® Resource Center.
Mr. Moe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in restoration ecology from the University of California, Davis.

David Robbins has served as our chief information officer and senior vice president since January 2012. Mr. Robbins previously served as vice president of global infrastructure with NetApp before assuming the role of chief technology officer. Prior to his position with NetApp, Mr. Robbins led North American infrastructure services strategy for Capgemini Outsourcing.
A 30-year veteran of the information technology industry, Mr. Robbins also served as the director of engineering services at Totality Inc. and in various leadership roles during a 15-year tenure at Electronic Data Systems.

Richard Roof has served as our senior vice president, business development since October 1999. Prior to that, he was executive vice president at Mtg Pro and simultaneously served as president at RFG Mortgage and National Mortgage Affiliates, which was acquired by Mtg Pro. He has also held management positions at Sun Microsystems, Rolm-IBM and Xerox.
Mr. Roof is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Business of Science degree in business/finance, and holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Susan Chenoweth Scarth has served as our senior vice president of marketing since December 2012, overseeing the development and execution of the Company’s marketing, branding, communications and client acquisition strategies. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Ms. Scarth held executive global marketing positions at various software companies, including Jigsaw/Salesforce.com, Taleo and Commerce One.
Ms. Scarth holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Vivian Wong has served as our senior vice president of software development since April 2013. In this role, Ms. Wong manages Ellie Mae’s multi-location product development teams working on our next generation of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and mobile applications. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, Ms. Wong served as vice president of engineering at Oracle’s Taleo and began her career working at numerous startups, investment banks and consulting companies in Australia. Ms. Wong graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.

Ting Wu has served as our senior vice president of technology since August 2007. Mr. Wu began his career with Ellie Mae as development manager in 2000 and was subsequently promoted to director and vice president positions. Mr. Wu has also served as a faculty research assistant with the Center for Automation Research at the University of Maryland, as well as with IBM’s internet division. He was lead engineer with Prodigy before serving as lead architect with S&P, Comstock.
Mr. Wu received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. He received a Master’s of Science degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, and received his Ph. D from the University of Southern California.
