Ellie Mae's Encompass™ Three Views - One Application
For Loan Officers
Encompass™ facilitates the development and management of client
relationships, while enabling loan officers to gather data, quickly
pre-qualify clients and instantly monitor their pipeline and loan
status through automatic alerts such as submittal due dates or lock
rate expirations.
Within the same application, a few mouse clicks allow the loan officer
to order credit (instantly uploaded into the borrowers file without
re-keying data), pre-qualify the client, print out the Truth in Lending
(TIL), Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and other forms and alert the processor
that the file is open.
Vital to loan officers, a full contact management system has been
built into the interface to manage relationships. This system also
enables loan officers to research closed loans and develop targeted
marketing of existing clients for new business generation. For example,
a loan officer can retrieve a list of all clients whose last loan
closed within the past two years with a rate more than 7.5 percent.
From this list, an automated email can be sent directly from Encompass
to these clients, announcing a new loan program or lower interest
rate.
For Processors
At the start of each day, the processor can immediately view their
loan pipeline and the status of each element: New Loan, Doc Signing,
Approved, Submitted, Funded and more. In addition, alerts will appear
if there are urgent needs that must be addressed, such as a lock
rate expiring, missing information, etc. These alerts also prompt
the processor when it is time to submit a loan for automated underwriting,
to order appraisals, open title & escrow, lender loan submission
and more.
Since Encompass is integrated with ePASSâ, all of these functions
can be performed with only a few mouse clicks. Loan data is automatically
retrieved from the borrower file, securely transmitted to their local
or national service provider and then returned report data is directly
populated back into the borrower file.
As communication with loan officers is critical to an efficient
loan process, a processor can send their loan officer alerts or to-do's
quickly and easily, within the application.
For Brokers
With Encompass, the broker receives an executive "dashboard" to
monitor loan officer pipelines, pipeline trends, average lead conversion
and process-to-close, purchase-to-refinance ratios and both vendor
and lender service provider activity. Encompass also enables the
broker the ability to access their loan officer and processor pipelines
for more informed decision-making about what loans are closing, at
what date, by whom and for what amount.
Encompass features auto-updates, ensuring compliance with the latest
regulatory changes and guarantees secure transmissions of customer
data. Compliance and security are certain because Encompass is integrated
with ePASSâ which delivers secure electronic ordering of title,
credit, appraisals, automated underwriting, loan submission and more - all
in compliance with Gramm-Leach-Bliley Safeguards and other consumer
privacy legislation.
