Ellie Mae Partners with PowerPak to Provide Exclusive ePASS Connectivity to Wholesale Lenders and Settlement Service Providers

Partnership Brings Streamlined Technology to LOS Users

Baltimore, MD-June 16, 2003-Ellie Mae Inc., the leading provider of desktop and web-enabled productivity solutions and software for the mortgage industry, announced today at the 2003 National Association of Mortgage Brokers Annual Convention a partnership with PowerPakT loan origination software (LOS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lender's Document Service, Inc., a provider of closing loan document software and services to the financial industry.

The partnership with Ellie Mae brings PowerPak users instant and seamless access, through Ellie Mae's industry-leading ePASS connectivity to LOS. Now PowerPak users will be able to leverage the 250 wholesale lenders and more than 90,000 service providers currently available through ePASS. By integrating ePASS into the PowerPak desktop, PowerPak customers are offered the most streamlined process for ordering credit, title, flood, appraisals, automated underwriting, lender loan file submission and more, including the innovative DO for ePASS which provides easy and fast access to Fannie Mae's Desktop Originator.
