Ellie Mae Recognized as Finalist in Eloqua Marketing Awards
Company recognized for email campaign that showcases the Encompass Community Resource Center, an online ‘virtual expert’ for maximizing the power of Encompass and Encompass360™
PLEASANTON, CA—November 2, 2009—Ellie Mae®, the award-winning
software and service provider offering comprehensive business solutions
for mortgage bankers, brokers, community bankers and other mortgage
originators, has been recognized as a finalist for the Best Customer
Lifecycle Program Award in the third annual Eloqua Marketing Awards,
also known as the “Markies.” The awards presentation will be held on
November 3rd in San Francisco.
Each year, the Markies recognize excellence in business marketing.
This year there were 12 different categories. Ellie Mae was nominated
for the Best Customer Lifecycle Program Award, which recognizes the top
customer lifecycle marketing program focused on key outcomes like
license renewals, stimulating up-sell or cross-sell opportunities,
increasing customer loyalty and affinity, and managing customer
references. The Markies are presented by Eloqua, a leading marketing
automation company and provider of best practices expertise for
marketers worldwide.
Ellie Mae’s finalist marketing program is an email campaign that
targets new and existing users of the Encompass Mortgage Management
Solution and Encompass360™, its completely redesigned mortgage
management solution launched in July 2009. Unlike other organizations
that often focus email campaigns on generating new sales, Ellie Mae’s
campaign focuses on enhancing the customer experience through education
and support by driving traffic to its online Encompass Community
Resource Center, a comprehensive website that provides training, support
and on-demand help 24 hours a day.
The Resource Center is available to all current Encompass
subscribers. It offers everything from online instructional guides and
videos, study guides and recorded training sessions, to informative
articles and live online help and customer support. The site topics are
customized and sorted according to the user’s Encompass edition, with
options for both systems administrators and end users, with special
emphasis for loan officers and processors.
The Markies are awarded to those companies that have demonstrated
exceptional and innovative ways to reach audiences, automate
marketing processes, align marketing and sales and measure marketing
impact. This year, judges looked for campaigns that resulted in
record response rates, lead generation of uncontestable quality and
enduring harmony between marketing and sales teams.
“We’re very pleased to be recognized as a finalist for The
Markies award,” says Jonathan Corr, chief strategy officer of Ellie
Mae. “I believe very few companies in the mortgage industry have
ever been recognized in this way.” He adds “The Encompass Community
Resource Center, which is the crux behind this nomination, is
providing the kind of assistance that mortgage bankers, community
banks, credit unions, brokers and lenders need to become more
productive in this challenging market.”
