Ellie Mae Empowers Contour Users to Easily Switch to Encompass

Newly released Contour Migration Wizard simplifies the transition from Contour to Encompass

Dublin, CA—November 13, 2006—Ellie Mae, an award-winning provider of innovative software and services for the mortgage industry, has announced the creation of the Contour™ Migration Wizard, a simple and easy-to-use tool that enables Contour loan origination system users to quickly transition to the Encompass® Mortgage Automation System, the loan origination system currently used by approximately 30 percent of the nation's brokers. With the creation of the Contour wizard, Ellie Mae has now enabled the swift conversion to Encompass from all major loan origination systems, including Genesis 2000®, Contour and Calyx® Point®.

Until now, Contour users faced unique challenges if they wanted to switch loan origination systems. "Since Contour lends itself to customization, many of Contour's users have highly customized the software, which increases the complexity of transitioning to another loan origination solution," explains Jonathan Corr, chief strategy officer at Ellie Mae.

Once Encompass is installed, users may leverage the Contour Migration Wizard to easily import their settings, information and data, including loan files, custom field settings, loan templates, loan programs, custom letters, tracking settings, document settings and vendor databases. Users simply select the items to transfer and the wizard does the rest. The wizard then incorporates the data and adjusts it to flow into the Encompass system, quickly, easily, and seamlessly.

The Contour Migration Wizard is available at no charge for those switching to Encompass Standard, Personal, Professional, Banker and Custom Editions.
