Ellie Mae and Habitat for Humanity – Virtual Leadership Build

By: Lihn Lam, SVP & Chief Information Officer, Ellie Mae

Ellie Mae has been thrilled to support Habitat for Humanity’s Women’s Leadership Build this May, and we’ve looked forward to bringing some of the incredible women on this team together to create some real change in the housing crisis.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Habitat is taking the event virtual – off the construction site and into your home. I encourage you to join me for Habitat’s Virtual Women’s Leadership Build.

Premiering on May 7th, the first Virtual Build episode will launch a 4-week series delivered via email to give you a window into the people served by Habitat and why we at Ellie Mae support these efforts. We’ll join with others across our community to build a virtual house that represents the completion of Habitat’s Central Commons development – 19 new homes for families in Fremont, CA.

Now, as we wrestle with a pandemic that has rewritten our daily lives, Habitat’s work is more critical than ever. At a time when we’re asked to shelter in our homes, we’re helping raise critical funds for thousands of families who lack safe housing.

Whether you donate or simply sign up to be included, by joining the Virtual Build, you can help Habitat complete the homes of Central Commons and keep Habitat building forward so that we can ensure more families can weather the best and the worst of times.

Join me in this powerful movement. Sign up for the Virtual Women’s Leadership Build to learn more about our impact, give in support, or invite your friends to be a part of the experience, too.
