Ellie Mae Cares’ "Operation Give Back" Tops Off a Successful #X17

Experience 2017 was jam-packed with industry insight, relationship building and inspirational keynote speakers. Not to be outshined, however, are the many contributions made by attendees through our employee-inspired community outreach program, Ellie Mae Cares.

With giving back a core value of Ellie Mae, every year during Experience, we make it a priority to be part of and have an impact on the local community where the event is hosted. This year, at our Ellie Mae Cares "Operation Give Back" Build-A-Bear event, customers, prospects and media and analyst volunteers worked side-by-side Ellie Mae employees to stuff more than 300 unique, plush teddy bears and other animals to provide a small touch of comfort to children that are currently going through extremely difficult situations such as homelessness or critical medical treatments.

Experience 2017 attendees had a hand in stuffing animals for a variety of local Las Vegas charities and partner organizations, including: Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas, Community Outreach of Nevada, CIS (Communities in Schools) Nevada, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and The Foundation for Positively Kids.

Ellie Mae Cares community outreach activities focus on giving back to organizations, and have previously supported event partners such as Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, Family Giving Tree, Blue Star Moms and Feeding America. This year, we also announced that once again, the Warriors Community Foundation will be our main charitable beneficiary for the Ellie Mae Classic. The Foundation, established in 2012, supports educational equity and youth development for low-income students in the San Francisco Bay Area.

At Ellie Mae, we’re dedicated to serving our client community of banks, lenders and credit unions by providing market-leading mortgage management solutions, while also giving back to communities on both a local and national scale.
