The Season of Gratitude

As we draw towards the close of 2017, I’d like to take a moment to step back and reflect on the amazing accomplishments and wonderful time we’ve had this year. This Holiday season has been like no other. On top of our first ever Ellie Mae Week of Giving Back, Ellie Mae Cares recently had its third annual Poker Tournament, its ever popular Silent Auction fundraiser, and the 50/50 raffle for charity benefitting Habitat for Humanity. Not only am I consistently amazed at the participation we receive for such fundraising events each year, but I am also blown away by the advocacy of charity and the humanitarian spirit the Ellie Mae team shows.

All of this was compounded by Glassdoor announcing two weeks ago that Ellie Mae is a winner of the annual Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, a list of the Best Places to Work in 2018. I am beyond ecstatic because unlike other awards, this one is entirely based on the feedback of Ellie Mae employees rather than a panel or nomination. This award joins an incredible list of achievements in 2017 that we’ve been able to reach thanks to our dedicated, talented team. And if 2017 is any indication of what we can accomplish, with events like our Ellie Mae Classic and Experience 2017, just wait for our best yet in 2018. We have many teammates going to Experience 2018 and I can’t wait to see all of our customers and partners there as well!

All of the accomplishments and recognition throughout the past year is due to the hard work of our Ellie Mae family. I believe this growth and achievement is a result of our unwavering commitment to our shared vision and our focus on our core values, which is what makes Ellie Mae such a special place. We focus on our customers' success, maintain respect for each other, and we share our good fortune with our communities. I look forward to 2018 and another outstanding year.

On behalf of the entire Ellie Mae organization, I would like to wish our amazing employees, customers, partners, and your families a safe and wonderful Holiday season and a very happy New Year.
