1 Hour MO SAFE: 2019 Requirements and Prohibitions

In this course, we will examine the Missouri Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act violations and penalties, review the advertising and social media standards, and explain the rules relating to second and reverse mortgages.

This course is designed for mortgage professionals interested in learning about prohibited acts and practices of the Missouri Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) for Mortgage Licensing Act as well as other guidelines and best practices for mortgage loan originators practicing in Missouri.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Describe the Missouri Secure and Fair Enforcement. (SAFE) for Mortgage Licensing Act Violations.
  • Review and apply advertising and social media standards as outlined in the MO SAFE ACT and other government guidelines.
  • Demonstrate through examples, prohibitions related to Reverse and Second Mortgage Loans.
  • Review the Supervision and Enforcement of Missouri laws for mortgage loan originators including the penalties for committing any of the Mortgage Licensing Act violations

Course Delivery

Each self-paced, self-study course examines a particular topic, allowing students to hone in on a focused set of learning concepts. Tuition and Registration

This course satisfies one hour of NMLS-approved Continuing Education training as an elective. Tuition for this course is $60.00 and includes the Credit Banking and Admin Fee applicable to this course.

Students have until December 31 in the year in which the course is purchased to complete the course. You may complete the course at any time during this period. However, course providers are afforded seven calendar days to credit the student’s NMLS account following successful completion of the course. It is strongly advised that you complete the course at least one week prior to the December 31 deadline.
