The Ellie Mae Classic brings together the world’s top golfers vying for coveted PGA Tour cards with a focus on giving back to the local community. The event includes action-packed Pro-Ams, a Celebrity Shootout and four days of tournament play.
Last year, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors joined professional golfers on course as a sponsor exemption. Curry made his Web.com Tour debut by posting rounds of 74-74—148 (4-over) while drawing tournament-record crowds at host TPC Stonebrae.

Golf that gives back

The Ellie Mae Classic has teamed up with the Golden State Warriors Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and other great charities to ensure the tournament leaves a positive, lasting impact beyond the fairways and greens.

Preceding Thursday’s opening round of the Ellie Mae Classic, teams of celebrities from Bay Area sports franchises will compete in a five-hole shootout with the winning team earning $15,000 for the charity of their choosing.
Over the last two years, the Ellie Mae Classic has delivered one of the most memorable weeks of the Web.com Tour season. In 2017, Germany’s Stephan Jaeger posted a PGA TOUR-record 58 in the opening round on his way to a record-setting 30-under-par 250 total and a seven-shot victory. Last year, Curry’s debut generated media buzz 64 countries, while Martin Piller earned his sixth Tour title.
